PROVOCATIVE

PROVOCATIVE — Original Acrylic on Canvas

“PROVOCATIVE” is an exploration of imagination, creation, sexuality and feminine empowerment.

This piece was created with the intention of leaving the viewer’s mind completely open to interpretation. There is no single meaning that I want you to take from it — the imagery is deliberately provocative, allowing each person to decide for themselves what they see, feel and take from the work.

The simplicity of the oak floor and plain wall creates a deliberately stripped-back environment, drawing all attention towards the central imagery. With nothing competing for attention, the sexual nature of the piece becomes the focus — raw, unapologetic and open to interpretation.

I created PROVOCATIVE as a way of exploring my own imagination and the freedom of creation. It represents the ability to take an idea from the mind and turn it into something tangible, without needing to make it comfortable or conventional for everyone.

At its heart, the piece also represents feeling empowered as a woman — embracing femininity, sexuality and self-expression on your own terms.
